Thank you for this balanced and evidence based report on "what to expect" in these incredibly challenging times. I'm having my first child within the next 6 weeks - worrying about the possibility of testing positive at the hospital is scary stuff. I'm glad to know that though precautions will be taken, the practice of separation isn't guaranteed. Have any studies been done on partners and support persons testing positive and what measures would be taken in that respect? I know at my hospital, the procedure is that if dad/support person is positive, he will not be allowed in the delivery room at all. Which makes sense, but is rough on the mom!
